Big Girl Bed

Ansley has been moved to her new room. She has done pretty good except for the coming out of her room at all hours of the night. Last night I just closed the door. This sends her into a frenzy because she doesn't like to feel locked in. After 2 weeks, last night was her first all nighter in her bed and not on our floor.

We went for our annual New Years dinner with Corey and Julia.

Emerson got to tag along and she was so good!

This was Ansley's YCW ornament from this year. I just crack up when I look at it. Poor Santa! I was told that she ran and had to be chased by her teacher to sit with Santa. Not every picture can be a smile.
I didn't know that we were so uneasy around Santa until later that night when we went to the Gaylord Texan and saw him. It became a family picture pretty quick. I try to plan ahead and match because one year I had to sit with the Easter bunny. I wasn't very cute for that picture.

So I try to be crafty here and there. We used to make these reindeer on t-shirts when I taught school for the kids to wear. I thought this would be a fun thing for my kids to do and a special keepsake for me. I just love hand prints!






Emerson even joined in on the fun. I wasn't sure how her hands were going to turn out because of baby fist. It was a first try on both hands. Such a good girl!
